I shared a few of these tips today too- planning ahead and booking early/late are great tips. The only thing I don't do is purchase travel books- I borrow from friends or the library when I can :) Great post!lil desiquahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702603642296991017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6239879242313619652.post-42993504117961705802016-04-13T07:57:38.216-07:002016-04-13T07:57:38.216-07:006-8 weeks out is the best time for booking domesti...6-8 weeks out is the best time for booking domestic flights, but international flights are best booked sooner 4-6months prior. More so the month leading up to a flight is the most expensive booking period to avoid. But with using rewards points, I find those are always cheapest even earlier on. I have no idea why. On average, I've been flying around 20 times a year for the last several years. And I still don't understand the airline company rules, I just go with. I always save places on google maps so when we get to our destination, it's easy to look at the locations of everything all at once. I've always found that flights almost always go on sale at one point, for flights within the US it's about 2-3 months before the flight date. Unless it's a super important trip when I absolutely need a specific time, I try to wait for a sale to book. Macy Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07329873534596312080noreply@blogger.com
