Winter Love Letters

Dear Winter,
I'm falling in love with you. It's true that our relationship hasn't always been the greatest. Well, things are different this time around. I'm sorry that I haven't always appreciated you, but now I'm realizing how truly beautiful you are. 
Thank you for blanketing the Earth all in white. Thank you for making it possible to enjoy pom pom hats and blanket scarfs. And thank you for allowing me to shamelessly walk around all bundled up in oversized sweaters + bean boots E-V-E-R-Y single day! Thank you for giving me an excuse to eat all the sweet rolls and drink all the cocoa with marshmallows on top. Thank you for the chance to act like a kid again…because there is something magical about making the perfect snow angel that makes you feel ageless. I love the subtle reminder of your presence, with snow crunching underfoot and the coolness in the air. Amidst all the cold, somehow all of this things make me feel warm again. You've have been the best so far and can't wait for more.

    I love that first outfit--all the light neutrals with the bright red coat, swoon! I'm also a big fan of the excuse to drink hot cocoa. :)

      Ha! Thanks Mattie. I hunted for the perfect red coat for years and now that I have one, I wear it every chance I get, lol

    I love winter and especially the snow! Yes it's annoying to drive in but it's so beautiful!
