Right when we arrived in Quebec City, we got the best views of the city on our drive in because the Promenade de Samuel-de-Champlain surrounds and passes all through Quebec.
We knew we had to walk this pretty promenade before we left town. So even though it was pouring rain off and on, mostly on, we put in all the miles.
the promenade is essentially an elongated park that accommodates walkers & bikers for viewing long stretches of the city
we loved that it was right on the water
Our walk along the promenade was so sweet with spending the day being carefree in the rain with my dog and pup. I wasn't sure at first whether this deserved it's own post, but this was one of those simple moments when time stands still and everything seems perfect. So I had to make some sort of record of our walk through the city because it's something that I always want to remember.
