Pumpkin Waffles & Halloween Treats

Topped with whip cream & maple syrup!

The morning after Halloween, we decided to sleep in. We don't get the chance to go out often so when we do we always make it a good time. Since the next day was a lazy day of recovering, we decided to make a big breakfast...delicious pumpkin waffles.

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup (plain) almond milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1 egg
1 tbsp canola oil

Directions: After mixing all of the ingredients, spray your waffle maker with a cooking spray before making your batches. It makes about 8 waffles. And if you like, you can add a handful of chocolate chips.

We also opened a Halloween care package that morning. It was sent by my inlaws. Aren't they awesome?

We used items in the care package to decorate the breakfast table!

And there was a little something for PJ too!

Relaxing with these two guys is the greatest...I only wish we all got the chance to be together more often. So I was especially grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate Halloween together.
