♥NANTUCKET♥

Oh my goodness, Nantucket you are beautiful!
Your cool breeze and your breathtaking views makes you the perfect little New England Town and the best place to celebrate my 26th Birthday!

Just a little over an hour drive away from Boston is the port town of Hyannis. From there we caught a ferry to Nantucket!

The ferry ride in itself was a wonderful little journey. Somehow we ended up with a cabin and deck all to ourselves. We sat in our toasty warm cabin drinking local brews and talking about our future plans and travel dreams while we waited for Nantucket to come into view. I could already tell it was going be an unforgettable day.

Can you tell that I was excited for what the day had in store for us?

I tend to plan our trips to the detail, but Nantucket is one of those places where having no schedule makes for the best kind of day. Once, we arrived we rented bikes and ignored our map. Pedaling along the gorgeous lanes and down the cobblestone streets was my idea of perfection.

Nantucket is filled with the cutest of shops and the dreamisest homes

Seriously Nantucket, why are you so perfect?

Nantucket is like being in a dream. It's full of color and class and pretty much the friendliest happiest people ever. It's such a relaxing place that everyone can't help but to be in the best mood. I totally understand why all true Northerner's escape the city every year to Summer in Nantucket!

We fell in love with Brant Point Lighthouse....

And we had to make quick stop into Vineyard Vines (ok maybe it wasn't so quick), it was my birthday after all!

As the sun began to set over Nantucket, it was time to ferry home. But with such a beautiful place being so close to us, we will definitely be back! And now we know that we have to make time to see Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod. Thank you Nantucket for a wonderful day and the perfect preppy girl kinda birthday.

  1. I so want to go to a little coastal town in the east! And I would totally just have no schedule and take everything as it comes, too! Glad you had a good birthday. :)
