Oh wow, have these summer months been getting away from me. So before we get too much further into August (as in it's almost over), I need to recap my July.

I had the first week of July off from dental school for summer break and decided to spend it doing more dentistry on a mission trip in the Dominican Republic!
I joined dentists from all over the states to spend a week providing free dental care to the people of the DR! We showed up to a line of eager patients every single day!
prepping supplies for a day full of extracting all the bad teeth
riding into a new town everyday to provide free medical care with this fun crew
Meanwhile, back in the states Tom packed up his place in Boston and made the big move to our new loft apartment in Virginia.

Tom knew I was sad that I couldn't be there to help move into our new place together and sent me this best text message while I was in the DR...it cheered me right up!

still dreaming about these amazing views in the Dominican Republic
This is what it looks like when you spend your week of summer break off from dental school doing more dentistry---if you can't tell, it's totally worth it. this was one of my many many many patients that I made dentures for in just a day.

After I finally made it back into the USA and to Virginia to reunite with Tom, we celebrated signing a lease on this new place together with champagne on the roof--oh, and there happened to be random fireworks going off too. It's like the city was celebrating us finally moving in together after all these years being long distance
I don't officially move to Virginia until the end of September, but was here every weekend and what great weekends they were.
prepping to take the kayaks out
I look forward to this all week long...so amazing to be living right on the water.
No one is a bigger fan of our new place than the dog. PJ loves his new dog park right within walking distance of our place, so he gets to go play with his friends daily now.
but when it insists on raining and we can't go out and play
it's the perfect time for a nap
starting studying for this again...ugh

lots of driving every weekend, but so worth it to roll into Virginia to reunite with the Husband and my pup
ended the month with getting some birthday goodies wrapped up for baby sister
I can't believe how crazy a month July was with so many major life changes---bringing an end to our long-distance relationship with signing a lease together with Husband (for the first time in our nearly 5 year marriage) on our amazing waterfront place || seeing baby sister off before she moved to a new state for college|| traveling internationally to participate in global medicine with a mission trip ||
Honestly, July was full of too much goodness and feeling so grateful for this amazing month.
