september snippets

Happy Friday
I can't believe it's the last one in September. I actually have an an exam tomorrow (yep on a Saturday) so I'm calling it a wrap for the month. But before I do, needed to share all my favorites from this month.
best way to start any month is always with a flight in my opinion. I love that my phone is filled with pics from the sky at the end of every month. This one took me to spend Labor Day weekend with the husband in Boston

lost 4 more pounds this month, which is probably because of stress, but hey, I'll take it. bought these new leggings as a reward and got to size down from my usual. They were a little pricey, but worth every penny and good motivation to maintain this new weight

so you don't think this month is all city strolls and museum visits, I was grappling with a rough month at dental school, the most stressful one yet. I think this photo was taken at like 1AM on a Saturday, but worth it to get to where I needed to be.

speaking of dental school, I got myself a little treat for passing my dentures practical. Orange shoes covered with flowers may seem impractical, but I love them. Ecstatic that my favorite stationary company turned their prints into shoes

Have had lots of practice sessions this month with learning how to make dentures and prepping (a little dental humor) for my licensing exam. Living that tooth-fairy life...7AM Sunday practice session that lasted 9 hours!

and finally ending the month with celebrating our 4th anniversary. We did things low key since we are both over-worked and so busy right now. It was just what we needed.

September is always that perfect transition between summer and autumn. And that's exactly what this month was...a transition. Looking back on how stressful this month has been and how much I managed to balance real life in between all the stressors of grad school, I'm pretty darn proud of myself. Looking forward to October with less stress and a lot more time for enjoying life.

    1. I agree. It's normal to want to put the best version of yourself out there, but it's definitely not effortless to coordinate everything and I'm trying to present real life, not just a photoshopped version
