A couple of years ago, I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of white jeans, these ones to be exact. And while this wouldn't be a big deal for some, I am not the kind of girl that should own white anything, but I guess that's what they invented bleach for. But the biggest issue for me is that I felt that white jeans were for summer only and that I would only get real use out of them a few months out of the year. Oh how wrong I was.
When it comes to style blogging, I never want to be one of those people whose just show casing what's currently on trend. Instead, I like to buy and wear pieces that will work for my wardrobe long-term. According to my monthly clothing budgets, I paid $54 dollars for these white jeans (now on sale) two years ago and I think I've got my money's worth with wearing these year-round. With labor day having just passed, I was remembering the old adage of "no wearing white after labor day", but here's proof that you can wear white jeans all year long.
Summer
white on white and stripes on white are my go-to for the summer. Add in a neutral sandal and I'm one happy girl. It's just so light and airy and reminds me of the classic new england style I love so much. You pretty much can't go wrong.
Autumn
I think autumn has been my favorite season for styling white jeans because it's a bit more of a challenge. You can still wear all your Fall classics with white jeans...button-downs, bean boots, school boy cardigans, plaid. But now you're adding in an unexpected piece to mix things up a bit.
Winter
What goes better with snow than white jeans? I mean, really it just works. I feel like winter clothing tends to be dark and depressing, so white jeans are a fun way to brighten up any winter look. And I'm fortunate enough to have selected a pair of jeans that are light in the summer, but still have enough coverage in the winter.

Spring
muted //
Obviously a spring staple. I feel like most people tend to style them with bright florals and classic denim jackets, but I think white jeans work great in spring with more muted tones too.
From travel adventures to lounging on the sofa, white jeans have surprisingly become one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. If you don't currently have a pair of white jeans in your closet, it's time to rethink your life. Ha! I mean it though. I've shared a few of my favorite white jeans below, most are under $100 and my exact pair featured in all of the photos above can be found here for only $35.
