happy friday all!
We are so close to Thanksgiving that I can almost taste the turkey. Though if I'm honest, I more excited about the fact that it will give me a few days off from dental school than I am about Thanksgiving itself. I definitely need a break.
volunteering
I spent this past Saturday volunteering at a free dental clinic. It was exhausting to spend my rest day extracting teeth, but such a wonderful experience to provide free care for those who needed it most. Really puts things into perspective. Not to mention, that I took so much knowledge from the day with getting to work alongside hospital dentists and residents.
christmas trip
Tom and I always replace traditional christmas gifts with an experience. We're currently putting the finishing touches on this year's Christmas trip. In the meantime, I shared all the details from last year's Christmas road trip through Mexico that includes everything from our itinerary to a few to tips to our budget. Oh and let's not forget, this epic visit to a wonder of the world.
I like to think that I'm not materialistic, but had to include this in my Friday Favs because it made me so happy to see this. I will seriously take one of everything
Heading into this weekend with the best motivation to finish up with some school work and start packing for next week. May even do a little Christmas decorating.
