Seriously could not be more excited to see an end to this week. It's been a really tough one with getting sick last weekend and carrying over into the week. But finally starting to feel better and looking forward to catching up on a few things and enjoying some time this weekend. 

But as proof that is hasn't all been bad, here are a few favorites from my week.

 Actually really not looking forward to today, as we got some snow last night and are 100% not equipped to deal with it. Since I'm the doctor, I kind of have to show up for the patients that will inevitably call and cancel at the last minute anyway, but wish me luck. 

But before I hit the road for the day, thought I would share some favorite highlights.

Happy Friday Friends! 

Just checking in since it's been a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I greatly overestimated my ability to post here during our month long backpacking trip through Europe. I've been just a little bit busy. This week alone, we have been to 4 different countries that included 3 plane rides, 3 bike rides, 1 funicular, 2 museum tours, 3 palaces, a 16 hour ferry, and the list goes on and on.

I'm sleepily popping in for a quick share, but I'm not complaining. In fact, I'm not sure how my day could possibly get any better because today, we are headed off for a month long backpacking trip through Europe! Also, tomorrow is my 30th birthday!

Did you ever have a really good work week? Like a great perfect wonderful week. Yea, me either. But this one was pretty darn close. I've been feeling so overwhelmed with life lately so I needed this.

 Being 4 hours away from home makes it pretty difficult to organize my life and my time right now. And checking off all the boxes to get all the things done before graduation in May is terrifying. I can't even. While I've been behind on my favorite hobby, who am I kidding, my only hobby of blogging, I'm making some time to share this incredible week I've had. I still have lots to share from December + the holidays + life, oh and that time we went to Morocco. But for now, here are my favorites from the week.

Just 4 more sleeps until Christmas Day! Normally I would be totally freaking out with excitement, but mostly, I'm just sad that this season is going by way too fast. This week in particular just blew right on by. We spent the week visiting my parents and my in-laws to celebrate Christmas early, because as of today, we are traveling though Africa and Europe for the holidays!

What a week full of change this has been. I ended my first dental rotation and started my second rotation, only now, I'm not able to commute. Instead, I'm living away from my Husband and my pup. So this week has been a big transition.

What a week this one has been. I finished out my first dental rotation, so I head off to a new clinic on Monday morning. On one hand I'm sad about leaving my current clinic that I have grown so fond of these last 8 weeks, but I also couldn't be more excited about the fact that I'm moving forward. Seriously, lots of transitions happening this week. Let's take a peak.

Don't ya just love Fridays? What a happy sunshiny day! This week has been a frustrating one so I'm happy to see it end. Either the computer system was down, limiting access to patient charts OR we were short-staffed at the clinic. So it's been a rough week where even the simple things were unnecessarily difficult. 

But not to worry, there were still plenty of highlights to this week.

Oh October! You're nearly halfway over and I'm left feeling dumbfounded and confused about how this happened. My favorite month is blurring right by, but thankfully, I had some time this past week to slow things down a bit and just pause.

This past week has been a crazy one with Hurricane Florence throwing such a big wrench into the mix. Yet, I can honestly say that this week and today in particular have been the best that I've had in a long time.

Happy Friday Dear Ones. 

This week has been a crazy one with starting the one month countdown until I leave the dental school and head off on my away rotations. On a more relaxing note, I got to spend the first part of this week in Cuba. Since that was clearly a highlight of the week, I thought I'd share some of my favorite parts about Cuba.

Happy Friday! 

This week has been a rollercoaster with dental school so I'm happy to be calling it. I'm not just looking forward to this weekend, I need the break! Ha! 

But don't let my exhaustion fool you. Overall, I've had a pretty wonderful week.
