friday favorites 07.10.20

Happy Friday Friends!
In the mist of everything, I'm just trying to make the most of the situation we've been dealt and enjoy the little things. So today is the perfect time to highlight some of my favorite moments lately.

New Growth!
We have had a lot of new growth around here, quite literally. Between our budding plants plus the situation created by mold and our emergency move, we felt the need to repot all of our plants. Our succulents are from our wedding and our cacti are souvenirs from trips out West so they are all so sentimental to us. For the past month, we have been working on getting everything repotted. Multiple trips to the hardware store for more plants and soil and we will finally finish the job this weekend.
P.S. Now we have way too many potted plants around the house, anyone interested in a free succulent?

one year after graduating
I woke up one day and suddenly realized that it has been a year since I graduated from dental school and became a doctor. And you guys, I am totally having all the feels. More details here.

money diaries vol 5: settling in
Sharing a new edition of one of my favorite series, with showing what we spent in a week. This time, I'm going through what it cost us during a week of settling in to our new place.

just peachy 🍑
When the pandemic hit, we got into a bit of a rut with social distancing. But lately, we have been looking for more and more safe activities to keep engage in to keep us going. Cue fruit picking...a new favorite. We have been peach picking and strawberry picking and loved it. Bonus points that the efforts of our labor get turned into fruit flavored desserts.

Have a good weekend!

  1. I love picking fresh fruit! It's just about blueberry season (which overlaps a bit with Peach season) here.

  2. Congrats on one year since becoming a doctor! And I love that you're trying to find safe activities to do. It's always a good idea to get out of the house when you can.
