TWIRL

When I was a little girl I hated wearing dresses. I hadn't quite mastered the art of sitting with my legs crossed, so dresses were accompanied by itchy tights that always seemed to rip. Or I would have to wear shorts underneath in which case what was the point. Why not just wear the shorts? But there was always one thing about dresses that I couldn't deny made them worth the hassle.....the fact that you get to twirl. I don't hate dresses anymore, but my favorite part of about them is still the same.

This beauty was actually a birthday gift from my in-laws. My sweet
Mom picked it out and she knows my taste so well. Once I tried this dress on, I wondered how I could have possibly survived without it. This is a Swing Dress, so aside from being fun to twirl in, it's got a loose fitting A-line Silhouette that would flatter any body type.

Dress: exact in multiple prints, though I'm partial to this one|| Belt: exact||
Necklace: Banana Republic Outlet|| Bracelet: exact on sale||
Earrings: exact on sale|| Shoes: Bandolino [similar]

For today, I decided to belt mine in order to better define my waistline. Plus it gave me a chance to add another pop of color.

I'm kind of obsessed with the way this dress flutters when I walk.

    1. Thank you Mattie! I have a feeling that I will probably be wearing this exact dress/belt combo on repeat
