Things are going to get a bit sappy around here because Tom and I are coming up on our second wedding anniversary. It's so crazy to think that I've been married to this wonderful man for two years already, mostly because he is my complete opposite in so many ways. While our differences make him that much more intriguing to me, they also nearly kept us apart. In fact, the first time we met, we didn't even speak to each other. We were so seemingly different. Now I know that these differences are what really makes us work so well together.
Opposites really do attract and I'm glad that I married mine because we complement each other in the best ways. See what I mean....
He likes to Cook and is pretty darn good at it, but she prefers to bake because cupcakes are their own food group
He goes with the Flow while She Overplans
He goes with the Flow while She Overplans
He likes it Dark...She likes it Light
He wants to understand how the world works while She simply wants to experience it
He likes Bitter Brews while She Prefers Champagne
He knows how to let loose when She's Being too Uptight
He is Patient and understands the value of waiting...She doesn't understand why everything takes so long
He's a bit of a homebody...She wants to see the World
He gets bored easily, which works just fine because She's always surprising him

I love this photo of you guys! You make a beautiful couple, and I definitely know what you mean. Me and my guy complement each other as well but it's funny because we tend to flip roles as well. When I'm uptight, he's relaxed and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ele! And I definitely agree with on about flipping roles. Depending on the situation, being uptight is good for getting things done but sometimes be laid back works best
