With being apart right now in a long distance marriage, it makes marking the milestones extra important. And since we always love to celebrate with experiences, we ended up on an epic Alaskan Anniversary Adventure this year for our big gift to each other a month before our anniversary. But we wanted to acknowledge the actual day too.

weird places I've lost my wedding ring
Tom and I celebrated four years of marriage at the end of September and husband gave me another wedding band, which I love and will happily add to the stack. But I also think it's kind of funny that was the gift he chose considering how many times and how many places I've lost my engagement ring/wedding band.
Well, not lost so much as got them stuck in the craziest weirdest places. Here's just a few.

2nd Anniversary Recap
Today is our second wedding anniversary and we celebrated all weekend long so I'm excited to be linking up with some lovely ladies for Weekending. Being in a long distance marriage, our focus is on spending as much time together as we can. We planned so many amazing dates together and I'm kind of exhausted from how much we squeezed in this weekend, but it was the best and now we have all of these amazing adventures to remember our anniversary by.

Opposites Attract
Things are going to get a bit sappy around here because Tom and I are coming up on our second wedding anniversary. It's so crazy to think that I've been married to this wonderful man for two years already, mostly because he is my complete opposite in so many ways. While our differences make him that much more intriguing to me, they also nearly kept us apart. In fact, the first time we met, we didn't even speak to each other. We were so seemingly different. Now I know that these differences are what really makes us work so well together.

One Year Anniversary Weekend Recap
Hello All, I thought I'd do a quick post on how hubby and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Because of our school situations, we weren't sure if we would have the opportunity to spend the actual day together, but luck was on our side. Husband flew in on Saturday and we decided to stay in the city since he had to fly back to Boston on Sunday. We grabbed a quick lunch, enjoyed a relaxing couples massage, and did a little shopping. And that evening we headed out to dinner together.

Our Wedding Day: Part 1
On September 21st, 2013 I was bestowed the great honor of marrying my best friend. Our wedding was everything I had ever dreamt of. On a day full of so much love, we wanted only a few things....tradition, an intimate atmosphere, & a big dose of elegance.

Our Love Story
This weekend is my one year wedding anniversary and although hubby and I were together for over 5 years before we married, this past year has been completely unique. I love him even more now that we have made this lifelong commitment to each other. We both work actively everyday to show our love and appreciation for each other. In honor of our first anniversary I thought I'd share our story: how we met, how we fell in love, how Tom kidnapped me in order to propose. And because I love them so much, I'm tossing in a few photos from our engagement session.
