Winter Skin Care

Blogmas Day 21

Today is officially the winter solstice and that's a fact that I'm not so happy about. While winter does lend itself to the opportunity to wear beautiful coats, drink hot chocolate, and cuddle by the fire; the bitter cold reeks havoc on my sensitive skin. Itchy dry skin and chapped lips are not my fav and I'm assuming that you all feel the same so I thought that it would be a good time to talk about winter skin care. Here are a few of my favorite items to fight off the cold weather.

one This is like no other shaving cream you have ever tried. It really moisturizes and soothes your skin. The best part is that it's so creamy that you can actually shave dry. Doesn't get much more convenient than that.

two  A good body scrub at the end of the day is really going to be the key to removing any dead or dry skin. And this one has moroccan oil...enough said.

three Eucerin products along with cetaphil products are my top recommendation for a mild cleanser or a deep soothing moisturizer. Simple products with the simple goal of pampering your skin and not exposing it to any unnecessarily harsh chemicals.

four  I love love love aveda products and this body polish is at the top of my list. It's a little on the pricier side, but it's worth every single penny.

five  As a future dentist, I have to say that not enough people take good care in this department. Don't ignore your lips, they need moisture and spf protection just like the rest of your body.
