Swamped!

"There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough,
quiet enough, to pay attention to the story"
                          -Linda Hogan
While we love exploring a new city, we always prefer to explore nature even more. We weren't in Charleston for very long, but we made time to fit Cypress Gardens into our weekend.
That perfect mirrored reflection against that completely black swamp.
It's eerie and beautiful all at once.
Black Cypress Trees and Lily Pads Everywhere....
Also, how is it soooo green?
If you're patient enough and quiet enough,
you will spot a whole lot more than lily pads!
My oar stayed pretty dry thanks to Husband.
His chivalry makes him the best travel companion.
See ya later Alligator!

  1. This is so pretty! I think I would've freaked a little at the alligator though haha.
